The VI Peel has minimal downtime. The peeling effect varies from patient to patient. It typically begins 48 to 72 hours after application has been administered, with days 3 to 5 being the heaviest days. Most people can expect peeling to last up to 7 days. Your skin will look lightly bronzed immediately after application.
Results expected after treatment
This procedure is safe for all skin types and skin tones, helping every patient achieve a brighter tone and smoother texture. It is true – patients will see some results after one treatment. It is advised to avoid any open wounds, active sores, or irritated skin in the treatment areas. If you are pregnant or nursing, using Retin-A, currently taking drugs with the ingredient isotretinoin (such as Accutane), or allergic to hydroquinone, please inform your medical provider during your assessment.
